These terms outline the basis on which Cogwright provides watch repair services from its workshop in Bang Rak, Bangkok. By using our website or arranging a service with us, you agree to the terms set out below.

1. Definitions

• "Service" refers to the watch repair and restoration work offered by Cogwright.
• "User", "you" refers to any person accessing our website or arranging a service.
• "We", "us", "our" refers to Cogwright.
• "Agreement" refers to these Terms & Conditions together with any service-specific arrangements agreed at the bench.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting a contact form, arranging a repair, or bringing a watch to our workshop, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the authority to agree to these terms on behalf of yourself or the watch's owner.

3. Service Description

Cogwright offers watch repair services including quartz battery and seal replacement, mechanical movement servicing, and vintage timepiece restoration. Services are provided from our physical workshop in Bangkok, Thailand, and are subject to availability and assessment of each individual watch.

4. User Responsibilities

When contacting us or bringing a watch for service, you agree to provide accurate information about the watch and its history where relevant, and to communicate any specific concerns before work begins. Please do not submit our contact form with false or misleading details.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, images, and design elements, belongs to Cogwright or its licensors. You may view and share this content for personal, non-commercial purposes, but may not reproduce it for commercial use without our written permission.

6. Payment Terms

Pricing for our services is set out clearly before work begins and is quoted in Thai Baht (฿). Payment is due upon collection of the watch unless otherwise agreed in writing. If additional work is identified once a watch is opened, we will discuss this and any associated cost with you before proceeding.

7. Service-Specific Terms

Mechanical Movement Servicing includes a 6-month workmanship cover from the date of collection, covering issues directly related to the service performed. Vintage Timepiece Restoration is handled in stages, with the scope and any changes to the plan discussed with the owner before proceeding. Quartz Battery and Seal Replacement is typically completed the same day, though timing may vary depending on workshop demand.

8. Disclaimers

Watches, particularly older or vintage pieces, may have pre-existing wear or damage that limits what repair or restoration can achieve. We will always describe what we can reasonably expect from a given service, but we do not guarantee a specific outcome, especially for pieces with significant prior wear.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions of a watch that are identified but not part of the agreed work, nor for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

10. Termination

Either party may withdraw from an agreed service before work has commenced. Once work has begun, particularly on a staged restoration, we will discuss any request to stop the process and agree on next steps together.

11. Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. In the event of a disagreement, we encourage reaching out directly so we can discuss and resolve the matter informally in the first instance. Where informal resolution is not possible, disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Thailand.

12. General Provisions

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. These terms, together with any specific service agreement, represent the entire understanding between you and Cogwright regarding the service provided.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in how we operate. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
