A bench built on patience, not shortcuts
HomeOur Story
Cogwright began as a small corner of a Bang Rak shophouse where a single repair bench sat under a warm lamp, surrounded by trays of gears and worn case backs. What started as informal work for neighbours and friends slowly grew into a dedicated workshop, one where the pace of the work never changed even as the bench got busier.
The idea behind Cogwright has always been simple: a watch is rarely just a timekeeping tool. It carries a routine, a memory, sometimes a family history. We treat each piece with that in mind, taking the time to understand what it means before we touch a single screw.
Today, the workshop handles everything from a quick battery swap to the slow, staged restoration of a decades-old mechanical piece. Regardless of the job, the approach stays the same: look closely, explain plainly, and let the owner set the pace of any decision.

Expertise Rooted in Practice
Watch repair in Bangkok covers a wide range of needs, from a simple quartz battery change to the slow, methodical work of restoring an heirloom mechanical piece. At Cogwright, this range is met with steady, hands-on knowledge built through years of daily bench work. Movements are cleaned, lubricated, and checked with attention to detail rather than speed, and each case is inspected for wear before any decision is made about repair or refinishing.
Owners bring watches to Bang Rak for many reasons: a piece passed down through family, a daily companion that has slowed down, or a mechanical calibre that deserves proper servicing rather than a quick fix. Whatever the reason, the same principle applies at this bench: understand the watch, explain the options clearly, and proceed only with the owner's agreement.
Curious what your watch might need?
